Located on a hilltop and covering an area of 700 acres, this massive fort was constructed by Mori rulers in the 7th century. The distinct features of the fort are its umbrella shaped rooftops tablets which lie between several monumental gates. The fort is a fine example of Rajasthani architecture.

Kumbhalgarh Fort, Kumbhalgarh: Built in 15th century by Maharana Kumbha, Kumbhalgarh Fort is a mammoth structure and one of the most visiting forts of Rajasthan, India. Kumbhalgarh Fort is located at the distance of 90 km from the city of lakes – Udaipur. The fort has 30 km long massive wall, seven gates and seven ramparts. The important places to see at the fort are massive walls, towering gates, ramparts, watchtowers, etc.

Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur: Mehrangarh Fort is the most famous tourist attraction in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. Located pm a 125 m high sandstone hill, the mammoth Mehrangarh Fort was built in the 15th century by Rao Jodhaji. The fort never fails to fascinate its visitors. There are many palatial palaces within the fort complex including Moti Mahal (Pearl Palace), Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Rang Mahal, Royal Darbar Takht, etc. There is also a museum inside the fort complex.

Amber Fort, Jaipur: Situated atop a hilltop near the city of Jaipur, Amber Fort is one of the worth visiting attractions of Rajasthan. Jaisalmer Fort, Jaisalmer: Also known as Golden Fort or Sonar Kila, Jaisalmer Fort is still inhabited by the Jaisalmer citizens. There are five Jain temples and 99 bastions within the fort complex. Located on the Trikutta hill, the foundation of the fort was laid by the Bhatti Chief Jaisal in 1156 AD.

City Palace Complex, Jaipur: City Palace is one of the most popular and worth visiting palaces of Rajasthan. Lake Palace, Udaipur: Lake Palace is one of the most enchanting tourist attractions of Rajasthan, India. Also known as Jag Niwas, it is a breathtaking island palace located in the middle of lovely Pichola Lake. This beautiful palace was built by Jagat Singh II in 1754. It is built in white marble and appears like emerging out of the romantic blue water of the Pichola Lake.
