| Duration: 13 Nights / 14 Days Destination: Delhi - Mandawa - Bikaner - Jaisalmer - Jodhpur - Udaipur - Ajmer - Jaipur - Delhi Day 01: Arrival in Delhi – the Capital of India Upon arrival at IGI Airport, New Delhi, India, you will be met and greeted by a representative from Shubh Yatra India. Then you will be escorted to the designated hotel. After a traditional welcome ceremony at the hotel reception you will check into your hotel room. Enjoy welcome dinner organized at the hotel restaurant. Overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 02: Sightseeing Tour of Delhi Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on full day sightseeing tour of New Delhi and Old Delhi. New Delhi: During your sightseeing tour of New Delhi (designed and built by the British in the 1920’s), you will have a wonderful opportunity to visit Government buildings, green parks and gardens, and travel through wide boulevards. You will also visit historical monuments like Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, India Gate – war memorial, and Parliament House. Old Delhi: During sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, you will visit Red Fort – one of the most opulent forts and palaces of Mughal Empire, Raj Ghat – the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi, Jama Masjid – the largest mosque of India, etc. You will also enjoy and have opportunity to shopping at Chandani Chowk – the bustling and colorful market of the old city. After exploring the Old and New Delhi, in time return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 03: Delhi – Mandawa After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, leave Delhi and drive to Mandawa in the state of Rajasthan, India. Upon arrival in Mandawa, Rajasthan, Shubh Yatra India representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. After lavish lunch at the hotel, embark on sightseeing of Mandawa, located in Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, India. Mandawa is a small town with superb medieval charm. The streets of the town are lined with richly painted Havelis, mansions and houses. Needless to say, exploring Mandawa and Shekhawati region of Rajasthan, provides a unique and pleasant experience of historical Rajasthan tours. After exploring Mandawa, in time return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 04: Mandawa – Bikaner Have a very hearty breakfast at the drive to Bikaner, Rajasthan, India. Upon arrival in Bikaner, Shubh Yatra India representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Later, embark on sightseeing tour of Bikaner as a part of historical Rajasthan tours. You will have opportunity to visit magnificent Junagarh Fort, Lalgarh Palace, Camel Breeding and Research Farm, Fort Museum, Ganga Golden Jublee Museum, etc. If time permits, you will also have opportunity to visit Dehnoke, famous for its Rat Temple (Karni Mata Temple). Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 05: Bikaner – Jaisalmer Have a hearty breakfast the hotel and then drive to Jaisalmer also popularly known as the golden city of Rajasthan, India. Upon arrival in the desert city of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, Shubh Yatra India representative will assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure or in your own individual activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 06: Sightseeing Tour of Jaisalmer Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on sightseeing tour of the desert city of Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. Jaisalmer is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the state of Rajasthan, India. It attracts a large gathering of travellers from all around the world. There are several things to visit and enjoy in Jaisalmer. During your Jaisalmer tour you will visit and see Golden Fort or Sonar Kila, Patwan-ki-Haveli, Salim-Singh-ki-Haveli, etc. Later in the afternoon visit to the Sam to enjoy silver and rippling sand dunes. Enjoy camel ride at sunset. Watching sunset view at sand dunes provides a mesmerizing experience. In time return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 07: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Jodhpur is one of most visiting cities of Rajasthan, India. It is also known as the Sun City and the Blue City. The city is predominately famous for its mammoth Meharangarh Fort. Upon arrival in Jodhpur, Shubh Yatra India representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure or in your own individual activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 08: Sightseeing tour of Jodhpur City Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. Visit to the mammoth Meharangarh Fort – built by Rao Jodhaji in 1459 AD. Also visit to the Jaswant Thada – an imposing white marble cenotaph and Umaid Bhawan Palace. In the evening enjoy shopping in the famous Sardar Market of Jodhpur. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 09: Jodhpur – Udaipur Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to the city of dawn – Udaipur, Rajasthan visiting en route Ranakpur, famous for Jain Temples. Upon arrival in Udaipur, Shubh Yatra India representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel. Day 10: Sightseeing of Udaipur – the City of Lakes Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on sightseeing of the city of lakes, Udaipur. The city is also popularly known as Romantic City. Visit the magnificent City Palace and its museum. Also visit the Jagdish Temple – built in 1651 AD and Sahelion-ki-Bari – the spectacular garden displaying the royal lifestyle of royal ladies. In the evening enjoy romantic boat ride over the romantic Pichola Lake. During your boat ride, you will see spectacular view of reflections of the magnificent Lake Palace Hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 11: Udaipur – Ajmer Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Ajmer visiting en route Chittorgarh to visit the Chittorgarh Fort. Upon arrival in Ajmer, Shubh Yatra India representative will assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Ajmer: Founded in 11th century, Ajmer is one of the most sacred cities of Muslims. It is predominantly famous for its Dargah – Mausoleum of Khwaja Moinudding Chisti, a Mulim holy man. But the Dargah is equally revered by both Muslims as well as Hindu. Tourists from other countries also come to visit this pious shrine and got blessed. There also many others to visit and see in Ajmer. Day 12: Ajmer – Jaipur Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then embark on sightseeing tour of Ajmer city. Visit to the Dargah, Targarh Fort, Anna Sagar – an artificial lake, Akbar’s palace, etc. Later drive to Jaipur – the capital of Rajasthan, India. Upon arrival in Pink City – Jaipur, Shubh Yatra India representative will assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 13: Sightseeing Tour of Jaipur – the Pink City After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, take an excursion trip to Amber Fort. Amber Fort is 11 km from Jaipur city. It is an excellent example of Rajput architecture. It is located atop a hill it overlooks mesmerizing view of its reflections in the Mata Lake below. One can arrive to the fort on riding the elephants. Enjoy elephant ride to reach to the fort and feel royal experience. Return back to Jaipur and then embark on sightseeing tour of Jaipur city covering imposing City Palace, Jantar Mantar Observatory, Hawa Mahal (the Palace of Winds), etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel. Day 14: Jaipur - Delhi – Departure Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Delhi, India. Upon arrival in Delhi, Shubh Yatra India representative will assist you to transfer you to the designated hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure or in shopping or in your own independent activities. After farewell dinner at hotel, you will be transferred to the IGI Airport in time to catch flight for you home or onward destination. |
