Day 01 - Arrive Madras (Chennai)
On arrival at International Airport in Madras (Chennai), you will be met and assisted by a representative form Shubh Yatra India. You will be transferred to the well-maintained and prestigious hotel. Have some relax at hotel and get refreshments. In the afternoon, enjoy sightseeing tours of Chennai city. The forth largest city in India, Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu, India and regarded as the ‘Gateway to the South’. The city is known for its distinct culture. Chennai Attractions: Fort St. George, St. Marry Church, Marina Beach, Kapakeeshwar temple, National Art Gallery, Government Museum, etc. In time return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 02 – Madras (Chennai) – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram
Enjoy hearty breakfast in morning and drive to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Both towns are famous for their pilgrimage and religious significance in all over India.
At Kanchipuram, you will see famous Dravidian Temples. Famous Temples of Kanchipuram are Kamakshi Amman Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kumara Kottam, Varadaraja Temple, Ekambareshwar Temple, etc.
At Mahabalipuram, one port city of the Pallava Rulers, you will have opportunity to see some terrific temples which are excellent specimen of Dravidian temple architecture and Pallava arts. The most predominant temple of Mahabalipuram is Shore Temple, built in 7th century. Other attractions of Mahabalipuram are Arjuna Penance, Five Rathas, Tiger Cave, etc. During Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram sightseeing you will be surly get fascinated with Dravidian temple architectures and distinct & rich culture of the region. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel at Mahabalipuram.
Day 03 - Mahabalipuram - Tanjore
After an early morning breakfast at the hotel, head for Pondicherry. Visit to the Aurobindo Ashram, Rai Niwas, the Sacred Heart Church, etc and later drive to Tanjore. Upon arrival in Tanjore, Shubh Yatra India representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04 - Tanjore - Trichy
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, enjoy morning sightseeing of Tanjore. Visit to the Bragdeshwar Temple, Art Gallery and Palace. Tanjore is known for its rich culture and tradition. During your sightseeing of Tanjore, you will have an excellent opportunity to see traditional handicrafts of the region and get insight into the rich culture. Later drive to Trichy. Day 05 - Trichy - Madurai
In the morning, enjoy hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later visit to the Rock Fort Temple. Situated on the banks of the Kaveri River, Rock Fort is one of the most worth visiting attractions of Trichy. Also visit to the Sri Rangam Vishnu Temple. Later drive to Madurai. Upon arrival at Madurai, Shubh Yatra India representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06 - Madurai
In the morning, enjoy hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later embark on sightseeing tour of Madurai. Also famed as the Athens of the East, Madurai is more than 25 years old city. The city is proudly famous for its Meenakshi Temple – one of the biggest temple complexes in India. The temple complex is dedicated to lord Shiva and his consort. The temple complex is a brilliant example of architectural work. Other worth-visiting attractions are the palace of Tirumala Nayak and local bazaars. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 07 - Madurai – Madras (Chennai) - Onward
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and drive to Madras (Chennai). Upon arrival in Chennai, Shubh Yatra Representative will assist you to transfer you to the airport in time so that you can board flight for your onward or home destination.
